That sharp lead sound comes from Scott Caviness, lead guitar.  Scott began playing guitar in 1957, when his mother made a present of his first Gibson flat top guitar.  Since that time, Scott has performed with many of the Midwest's most popular groups. Scott’s most recent work with the “ Centerfield Band “ included a partnership with another well known recording artist and writer Glenn Miranda, whose performance with the “ Strawberry Alarm Clock” produced the # 1 chart song ‘ Incense and Peppermint “ in the late sixties.

Scott has continued to play throughout the Michigan and Indiana and the midwest area for the past 10 years as music evolved into the sophisticated majestic ballads and explosive rock of today’s country sounds.  This extensive background has now added an important quality to the sounds of Ernie Givens and the White Lies Band.  Scott joined as the most recent addition to the group at the end of 2004.
